Skytech Gaming Aqua Desktop PC – RTX 5080

Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz (5.2 GHz Turbo), 2TB Gen4 NVMe SSD, 32GB DDR5 RAM 6000 RGB, 850W Gold ATX 3 PSU, 360mm ARGB AIO, Wi-Fi, Win 11

Key features of this Skytech Gaming Aqua Desktop PC

RTX 5080 graphics card

If you’re going for exceptional 4K gaming performance, then the RTX 5080 is one of the best graphics cards you can go for. Featuring 10,752 CUDA cores, 16GB of memory, and a large 256-bit bus, this card also benefits from being built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, which means it has the latest generation components, too. These include 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and the latest GDDR7 VRAM, all of which allow for significant performance gains over the RTX 4080 in their respective areas. And don’t forget the 50-series exclusive DLSS4 with MFG, which dramatically boosts perceived fps in-game. Read our full review here for a deeper dive.

Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor

Arguably the best gaming CPU money can buy right now, especially if you don’t fancy paying a ton for the overkill Ryzen 9 9950X3D. For multitasking and multithreaded tasks, it features a decent core and thread count (8+16), which may not be as high as some of the other Intel alternatives, but is still good enough for heavy multitasking, creative, and productivity workflows. For gaming, it features a big boost clock speed of 5.2GHz and a massive 96MB L3 cache, which is uniquely designed to reduce frame latency, improve framerates, and allow for smoother gaming performance. Storage and RAM

As expected with a high-end gaming PC, the storage and RAM here are more than enough for most people. You’ve got 32GB of DDR5, which is going to be good for running demanding games and some of the most popular, RAM-intensive creative applications. It’s also going to ensure that your overall computing experience feels responsive and snappy, too. On the storage front, there’s a Gen4 SSD here, which gives you enough space for around 15 large AAA games, if you wanted to leave about 500GB for other files. Overall, not bad at all, especially given the recent pricing woes of DDR5.

Things to consider

There’s not a whole lot to consider here, in all honesty, as this is a very fair price for what you’re getting here. We’d say it’s worth looking at RTX 5080, Intel Core Ultra 7-265K builds if you’re after something future-proof, but more tailored towards content creators and streaming, in addition to gaming. These will be roughly the same price, but have a high core and thread count, and even an NPU with 13 TOPS. If you wanted a high core and thread count, excellent gaming performance, but something less future proof, check out the RTX 5080, Intel Core i7-14700F builds, or even i9-14900F. These are quite affordable and still pack a serious punch for gaming and non-gaming tasks.
