Amazon Prime Day has been the popular go-to for some of the best tech-related deals for a few years now but sadly, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the usual July event was cancelled. However, all is not lost, as Amazon has pulled it out of the bag and rearranged Prime Day starting October 13th.
The Prime Day 2020 event will run from midnight October 13th up to midnight October 14th and will feature big discounts on a number of product categories including electronics, fashion, and much more. They’ll also be huge savings on Amazon’s own products including the Amazon Echo, Fire tablets, and Fire TV devices. Amazon is also debuting a whole new generation of Amazon products including a new Fire TV stick, a revamped looking Echo, and Echo Show 10 so expect them to be discounted too, allowing you to pick up the latest tech at a much lower price than you’d traditionally expect to pay. There could also be some introductory prices on recently announced Amazon devices such as the Always Home Cam and Eero 6 routers so keep a look out for those.
As always though, you will have to be an Amazon Prime member to reap the benefits of the Prime Day event. If you’re not one already, you can take advantage of the Amazon Prime free trial which lasts for 30 days, more than enough time to snap up some of these deals before cancelling if you don’t fancy carrying on the subscription. Amazon is also doing a special offer in which if you sign up to Amazon Prime via an Alexa device, you’ll receive £5 credit in your account to spend as you wish. All you have to do is say “Alexa, sign me up for Prime.” and you’ll be golden.
In a surprise, there are some special early Prime Day deals that have actually gone live today for members including 50 percent off Prime Video movie and TV show purchases or rentals, as well as four months of Amazon Music Unlimited for just $0.99 (99p).
Moving forward, we’ll be trying our best to keep you updated on all the Amazon Prime Day deals as they go live so keep an eye out on the website as well as our social media channels for up to date info!
