AMD continues to have reasons to celebrate as RNDA 4 graphics cards dominate sales figures in Germany. Lack of news from Intel regarding its Arc graphics cards has accompanied a decline in sales figures despite the well-received Arc B580 and B570 cards for entry-level gaming.

The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT has been the most successful and hyped graphics card that Team Red has produced in many years. Despite Nvidia covering a far wider range of the market, AMD GPU sales continue to be at the top of the charts in Germany. This data is provided by tech blogger TechEpiphany, who posts sales figures sourced from German retailer MindFactory.

AMD makes up just over half of GPU sales at Mindfactory

These figures show that AMD is at the top of the pile, with 790 units sold compared to 715 by Nvidia. Nvidia pulls ahead on the revenue front, with €611,569 compared to AMD's €537,660, due to the higher prices of Nvidia products in general and its higher-end models like the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090.

It’s also worth pointing out that AMD’s older RNDA 3 cards remain a popular choice. On the flipside, Nvidia’s RTX 40 series (Ada Lovelace) sales have dropped in favor of the latest 50 series (Blackwell) cards.

Intel has been having a hard time in the sales department, however. Only 20 units sold, with a mere €5,040, less than 1% of the revenue share. The Intel Arc graphics cards have not exactly set the world alight, but they have still managed to carve out a small niche as a good ultra-budget option for starter and entry-level builds, particularly Battlemage GPUs like the B580.

However, the lack of news from Team Blue has led to a decline in sales, as users are unsure if they can expect future support. There have been rumours of another Battlemage GPU on the way, but so far, new Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan has not expressed much interest in Intel's graphics card sector.

Unless Intel announces new plans for the Intel Arc series at Computex, users may be wise to switch to an AMD card, especially with the RX 9060 XT said to be coming soon.
