AMD’s hugely popular Ryzen 9 7900X3D just fell to its lowest price ever (according to CCC), making it one of the best CPU deals available right now.

Prime Day ‘officially’ goes live tomorrow, but that hasn’t stopped the globe’s biggest online retailer from slashing big bucks deluxe off one of the market’s most sought-after CPUs. That’s right, the Ryzen 9 7900X3D is currently on a “Prime Exclusive deal” that sees its price fall from around $599 to just $327 – its lowest price in well over a year.

AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D

12-Core, 24-Thread Desktop Processor

The CPU in question is one of the brand’s most popular high-end gaming CPUs, offering up high clock speeds and excellent overclocking headspace. Better yet, the 7900X3D leverages AMD’s second-gen 3D V-cache, boosting L3 capacity to an impressive 128MB – resulting in a decent boost in overall gaming performance.

Is the 7900X3D worth it right now?

One of the main reasons why most individuals choose either the 7950X3D or the 7800X3D over the 7900X3D is mainly due to pricing – it’s just a little on the steep side. That said, with Amazon now slashing the price of this model to well under that of the 7800X3D, it really opens up a question of which X3D processor offers better value for money.

There’s definitely a conversation to be had around the 7900X3D being more desirable than the 7800X3D – with the latter currently on offer for $387 – around $60 more expensive.

Regardless, this is a great deal that certainly paves the way for what should be an exciting next few days. We’ll be posting all the latest Prime Day deals we can find, so be sure to stay tuned for more excellent offers.
