ASUS is set to unveil a powerhouse lineup of laptops featuring the next-generation AMD Ryzen AI 300 CPUs at a special launch event scheduled for July 17. This event marks a significant moment for AMD, placing their Ryzen AI 300 processors under the spotlight.

The launch promises to showcase a plethora of new devices across the coveted ROG, Zenbook, and ProArt series. While details on specific configurations and pricing are expected later in July, here’s a glimpse into what ASUS has in store and the things to look out for.

Taking center stage for gamers is the ROG Zephyrus G16. This high-end machine boasts the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU, offering 12 cores and 24 threads. Gamers will appreciate the XDNA 2 NPU, which is ideal for AI-powered features in games. The graphics department is well-equipped with the Radeon 890M iGPU based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture. Keeping things cool is the ROG Intelligent Cooling design. This innovative system incorporates a tri-fan design with 2nd Gen Arc Flow fans and a new fiber-and-mesh heat-pipe system.

The ROG Zephyrus G16 boasts a 16″ OLED panel with a 2.5K resolution, a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz, and a 16:10 aspect ratio. ASUS guarantees compliance with the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 standard. Other noteworthy specs include 32 GB of speedy LPDDR5X-7500 memory and support for high-performance SSDs. The laptop is WiFi 7 ready, ensuring seamless connectivity on the most up-to-date standard.

Two configurations of the ROG Zephyrus G16 will be available. The first, starting at $1,899, which features the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, XDNA 2 NPU, a RTX 4060 GPU, a 32 GB RAM, and 1 TB of storage. The higher-end option, priced at $2,299, upgrades the discrete GPU to the GeForce RTX 4070 while maintaining the same CPU, NPU, RAM, and storage line-up.

ProArt P16 and ProArt PX13

The ProArt series caters to creative professionals, and ASUS is introducing two models powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix Point” CPUs. The ProArt P16 takes the lead with the top-of-the-line Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 chip paired with up to the Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU. This is equipped with all the tools creators crave, including Nvidia Broadcast, RTX Iideo, and ChatRTX, streamlining workflows.

Additionally, the ProArt P16 offers a premium aesthetic with a stealthy hinge. The smudge-resistant finish ensures the device maintains its pristine look. Cooling is handled by the same tri-fan design found in the ROG Zephyrus G16. The ProArt P16 will start at $1,899.99.
