We’ve spotted a hefty $400 discount on Newegg’s best-selling ABS Cyclone Aqua gaming PC, which has dropped its price from $1,399.99 to $999.99.

It’s easy to see why this gaming PC is Newegg’s number 1 best-selling pre-built, as it delivers in terms of value, design, and performance, without being overkill for its primary usage, which is going to be higher fps gaming in FHD in most cases. You’ve got the impressive RTX 5060 8GB, which benefits from being built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, and an excellent bang-for-your-buck CPU in the form of the Intel i5-14400F, which is great for gaming, but also a good option for multitasking thanks to its higher core and thread count. On top of that, you’ve got 32GB of DDR4 and a basic, but still substantial, 1TB SSD for moderately large gaming libraries. And from a design perspective, we’re big fans of its more compact, understated aesthetic, which we think would work well in practically any type of setup.

Key features of this ABS Cyclone Aqua Gaming PC

RTX 5060 graphics card

The RTX 5060 is one of the best graphics cards you can get if you’re looking for something budget-friendly and excellent for 1080p gaming, with the extra bells and whistles exclusive to Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture. This card features 8GB of new and faster GDDR7 VRAM, 4th-gen Ray Tracing cores, and 5th-gen tensor cores. Thanks to the boost in capabilities, you’ve also got advanced features like multi-frame generation, which can insert up to three frames between two, resulting in much higher perceived framerates.

Intel Core i5-14400F processor

This processor is a very good, cost-effective option if you want something with a more well-rounded offering than your typical gaming CPUs. This processor has a high core and thread count of 10 and 16, which allows it to be more effective when it comes to multitasking and multithreaded workloads, like video editing or streaming, for example. In addition, it high boost clock speed of 4.7GHz and a relatively large 20MB L3 cache, making it a good option for gaming in 1080p and 1440p, without being overkill for something like the RTX 5060’s capabilities.

Storage and RAM

This build opts for 32GB of DDR4 RAM instead of DDR5. This is good as it keeps the overall build costs down, and it will be more than enough for multitasking, handling demanding games, and creative applications. It also features a fairly modest-sized 1TB SSD, which is enough for a decent handful of games, but you may need to do a bit of storage management to stop it from filling up too quickly.

Things to consider

For FHD gaming performance at higher settings, it’s worth looking into RTX 5060 Ti builds. The 8GB variants will be only a touch more expensive than this one, likely coming in at around $1200, and the 16GB variants tend to hover around $1,500 in most cases. It’s also worth keeping an eye out for RX 9060 XT 16GB prebuilds, too, which are around the same price as the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB options, but can be a little less expensive and have comparable raw performance.
