SAMSUNG Odyssey OLED G8 G80SD 32″ QD-OLED Gaming Monitor
What we like about the Samsung Odyssey G8 QD-OLED gaming monitor
There’s a lot to like about this monitor, but where it really stands out from the crowd is its gaming-orientated, QD-OLED display. This monitor is something that can handle higher fps at high resolution, all the while showcasing games at their best thanks to the displays impressive contrast ratio.
This is the type of monitor that will pair well with higher-end gaming PCs, specifically those that have a capable GPU designed for 4K gaming. On top of that, it’s also loaded with features to prevent burn-in, giving you another level of confidence in your purchase.
- QD-OLED display: Essentially the top dog when it comes to picture quality, especially with color and contrast. We’d say go for a mini-LED display if you want something very bright, though.
- Responsive and fast: Has a 0.03ms response time for fluid on-screen movement, and its adaptive sync technology should greatly reduce screen tearing even at higher fps.
- Burn-in solutions: This features a screen saver, logo and taskbar detection, thermal modulation system, and a dynamic cooling system that work together to greatly reduce any chance of burn-in.
- Versatile size: 32-inches is great for a more immersive gaming experience, but also the go-to size for creators and a good call for watching content too.
- HDMI 2.1 compatible: Pair this with a high-end PC or connect it to your PS5 or Xbox Series X for 4K at higher frames per second.
Who’s this deal for?
This is a great deal for anyone who’s got the budget, but we’d say it’s most relevant for those with a powerful gaming PC who prefer playing more graphically demanding titles in 4K. Even with the deal it’s still quite the investment, but it will compliment a high-end build nicely.
As for the price, it’s actually pretty good value for money. As you can see from the graph above, it’s been notably more expensive for most of 2025, so this is good chance to catch it close to its lowest ever price.
