Black Friday deals are heading our way, but over at Newegg, there are already some fantastic discounts well worth jumping on early. This Yeyian gaming PC is currently $220 off, reduced from $1,199.99 to just $979.99, which is a great value considering what you’re getting. You’ve got the excellent RTX 5060 8GB graphics card, which is good for 1080p gaming at max settings, but this build also features a very capable Intel i7-14800F CPU and 32GB of DDR5 RAM, too. This combination makes this PC a brilliant choice for gaming, productivity, and creative tasks, all for well under $1,000. A real winner if you ask us.

What we like about this Yeyian gaming PC
A cut above most budget 50-series prebuilds
This gaming PC is a cut above most of what you find at this price range, when it comes to some of its components, namely its CPU and RAM. Rather than opting for a very low-end CPU to keep costs down, but with lacklustre performance for anything aside from gaming, this build goes for an impressive Intel Core i7-14700F. We reviewed this CPU and were very impressed with its multithreaded and single-core performance. It has a huge core and thread count of 20 and 28, a high boost clock speed of 5.4GHz, and a large 33MB L3 cache that makes it ideal for everything from gaming to multitasking and demanding creative workflows. For the price, this is a massive win in our eyes and elevates the whole PC build. On top of that, it also features a large 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which is not usual for RTX 5060 rigs in our experience. That’s going to assist with gaming, for sure, but also allow you to run intensive creative applications like Adobe Premiere Pro, and keep your system feeling snappy and responsive.
Excellent entry-level 50-series card
The RTX 5060 is one of the best graphics cards to go for if you want something primarily for 1080p gaming. What gives this the edge over the previous generations is that it’s built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, meaning that you have faster GDDR7 VRAM and new features like DLSS 4 and MFG, which can be used to drastically improve performance beyond what this card may be capable of in its raw state. When it comes to gaming, you can expect games like Cyberpunk 2077 to be playable at over 100fps at max settings, and drop to around 70fps when you enable ray tracing. 1440p gaming is also possible, but its smaller 8Gb of VRAM may get in the way there. It’s also not a bad entry-level card for lighter to moderate creative workflows, and should be able to handle video editing, graphic design, and more relatively well.
Considerations before buying
The RTX 5060 is great from a purely budget perspective, but the RTX 5060 Ti still delivers great value and better performance. The RTX 5060 Ti 8GB can be found in PCs that cost around $1,200, which isn’t too much more than this one, and will be better for both gaming and creative workloads, so you may want to explore these options before committing. Another very minor consideration could be the smaller 1TB SSD in the build, which may be quickly filled up if you’re using it to store both games and video footage. Aside from these, we think this PC ticks all the boxes and is an absolutely fantastic deal to go for from a price-to-performance perspective.
