You’ve probably heard of Nvidia’s GeForce RTX graphics cards, or AMD’s Radeon GPUs, or maybe even Intel’s Arc desktop cards, but there’s a potential new challenger on the market. The Lisuan 7G100 GPU hails from China and looks to make a splash. Leaked OpenCL benchmarks show the new contender going head-to-head with the RTX 2080, Arc A770, and RTX 3060 Ti.

A new entry on Geekbench featuring Lisuan 7G100 Series Graphics appeared early this morning, achieving an OpenCL score of 111,290. There’s still much to learn about the China-made GPU, since we’re only looking at a single synthetic benchmark, but it’s a solid introduction for a brand which is relatively unknown, at least outside of China.

Lisuan 7G100 graphics card is close to the RTX 3060 Ti

We can compare the new entry to existing OpenCL benchmarks on Geekbench. There, the RTX 5090 is clearly on top with a massive score of 379,910, so we’ve created a table of what more closely matches the Lisuan 7G100.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060120,872
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER118,683
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080112,088
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti111,938

We can see that the 12GB Lisuan graphics card performs similarly in OpenCL to the RTX 3060 Ti and has even surpassed the flagship Arc A770 from Intel’s first Arc generation. Compared to AMD, it overtakes the RX 6750 XT from a couple of generations ago. However, it falls behind the big three’s most recent cards, with a noticeable performance gap up to the RTX 5060 that released a few months ago.

The Lisuan 7G100 is reportedly launching on July 26 domestically in China and shows significant improvement over previous iterations and prototypes. According to this Geekbench entry, the card has a 2.0GHz clock speed and 48 Compute Units, which is up from the 32 found in earlier samples. There are also rumors Lisuan has developed upscaling tech for the new GPU, but that is yet to be confirmed.
