Cougar has introduced a trio of new PC cases at Computex 2024, catering to a range of user preferences and fan requests. This trio includes two completely new designs and one shrunken variant of an original. The FV20, MX600 Mini RGB, and Airfare Eco have seen improvement in performance and efficiency, with each model focusing on a different area to excel within. Let’s dive in.

FV270

The FV270 embraces the “fishtank” design with its tempered glass front and side panels, offering a clear view of the internal components. This case stands out with a curved front panel that resembles a bullet from a top-down view. It boasts sufficient space for showcasing high-end hardware like E-ATX motherboards and long GPUs.

For optimal airflow, the FV270 also includes two 120mm fans at the front and one additional fan underneath. For those prioritizing aesthetics over airflow, an optional RGB turntable can be purchased, though this does come separately. This unique feature replaces the bottom intake fan and spins figurines with colorful lighting, or we suppose whatever else you want on a rotating display in your PC case. The FV270 has already garnered significant interest and is currently sold out at most retailers. The MSRP is $179 for the case itself, which can be found available in black or white, with the RGB turntable costing an additional $25 on top of this.

MX600 Mini RGB

The MX600 Mini RGB is a compact version of the already-released MX600 RGB. This new model is transforming the mid-tower design into a mini-tower. While enthusiasts of Small Form Factor cases might find its footprint on the larger side for an ITX case, it compensates with superior airflow. This case offers exceptional expandability with room for up to 10 fans, a 360mm radiator on the top, and a GPU up to 380mm long. Despite the “Mini” in its name, the MX600 Mini actually prioritizes a user-friendly building experience over achieving an ultra-compact size.  Unlike the FV270, pricing and release date information for the MX600 Mini RGB are yet to be revealed.

Airfare Eco

Finally, the Airfare Eco caters to eco-conscious builders seeking a balance between thermal efficiency and power usage. Cougar describes it as an evolution of the Duoface Pro, featuring a redesigned front panel that resembles something close to a cheese grater. This panel maximizes airflow and its thermal performance through dual 180mm intake fans, replacing the three 120mm fans of its predecessor. This larger size allows for more airflow with lower power consumption.

Additional features include a vertical GPU mount for a distinct look, a movable front I/O panel for better cable management, and an improved dust filter. While pricing details and launch date are unavailable, the Airfare Eco is expected to be priced slightly above the Duoface Pro’s $100 MSRP.
