Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is officially coming to PC next month on March 19. Over the past few weeks, fans had already started speculating about a PC port after Hideo Kojima shared a series of cryptic posts on social media that hinted at upcoming announcements. All the speculation came true, as during yesterday’s State of Play, Kojima Productions confirmed that Death Stranding 2 will be getting a full PC release.

For the PC version, Kojima Productions has once again partnered with Nixxes Software, a studio well known for delivering polished PlayStation ports on PC. One of the biggest highlights is full support for all major upscaling technologies, like Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS, including both upscaling and frame generation where supported. This will allow players to push higher resolutions while maintaining smooth performance.

The PC version also features unlocked framerates and fully customizable graphics settings. Players can fine-tune visual quality to match their hardware. Kojima Productions has also included built-in graphical benchmarks, making it easier to dial in the best settings before jumping into the game.

The gameplay also supports ultrawide (21:9) and super-ultrawide (32:9) displays, while cutscenes scale properly for standard ultrawide setups. This gives PC players a much wider field of view when exploring the game’s massive environments.

The game also includes complete mouse and keyboard support with custom keybinding. For controller users, full DualSense integration is included on PC, bringing adaptive triggers and haptic feedback for combat, movement, and cargo management.

Players who sign in and link a PlayStation account will gain access to the PlayStation overlay on PC. This enables PlayStation Trophies, friends lists, profiles, and additional cosmetic rewards, including exclusive backpack patches and a PlayStation-themed suit. There are also some bonus items for those who pre-order the game, no matter if it’s the Standard or Digital Deluxe edition.
