The game has climbed up 14 positions on the charts for this, and it's expected to stay in this spot, or close to it, for at least a week or two. The interesting part is that it is sitting just above Elden Ring, which was the most played game on the Steam Deck in 2024.

The reason for this sudden rise in popularity is the release of Season 7, which came out on January 21. The new season brought a lot of exciting new content to the game, such as seasonal items, quests, legendary aspects, and even unique runes. There is also a brand-new storyline for players to explore. On top of that, the developers also added a new Dungeon type and World Event, giving the game a fresh look and feel.

The game has also received a massive discount on Steam recently, as you can get it for only $27.49 right now, which is 45% less than its original price tag of $49.99. While the new season has brought back many old players who had been waiting for new content, the 45% discount has also likely attracted plenty of new ones who were eager to try the game but were waiting for a good deal. However, keep in mind that the discount will end in two days, so make sure to get the game before that.
