ASUS has finally revealed the price of its highly anticipated ROG Swift PG27AQWP-W OLED gaming monitor, at least in one region. The company first showed off this model back in August 2025, but at the time, it didn't share how much it would cost or when it would be available. Now, with pre-orders going live in China, we finally have an idea of its price range and what to expect before its global release.

The PG27AQWP-W is currently listed on JD.com, a popular Chinese retailer, for 8,499 RMB, but early bird buyers can get it for just 7,998 RMB after discounts, which translates to about $1,100 USD. While ASUS hasn't confirmed international pricing yet, this gives a good idea of what fans outside China might pay once it becomes available globally.

Why you should consider the ASUS ROG OLED PG27AQWP-W

What makes the ROG OLED PG27AQWP-W stand out is its dual-mode design, which allows users to switch between two different performance modes. You can choose between QHD (2560×1440) at 540Hz or HD (1280×720) at 720Hz, depending on whether you want higher resolution or faster refresh rates. As you can see, the 720Hz mode runs at a lower 720p resolution, meaning you'll trade image clarity for ultra-fast performance.

ASUS has also equipped the monitor with several smart features to improve its durability and usability. It includes ASUS OLED Care Pro, which helps prevent burn-in, and a Neo Proximity Sensor that automatically dims the display when you walk away. We saw MSI do something similar with its 500Hz QD-OLED back at Computex earlier this year. There's also a custom heatsink to keep temperatures low during long gaming sessions, which will further help with keeping you safe from burn-in issues.

For connectivity, the PG27AQWP-W doesn't disappoint. It comes with DisplayPort 2.1, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and three USB-A 5Gbps ports. The monitor also covers 99.5% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, offering bright and accurate colors for gaming and creative work. At the moment, we don’t know when it will become available in the U.S., but once that happens, we’ll let you know.
