Dying Light fans are eagerly waiting for the next installment in the series, Dying Light: The Beast, to launch. The game was officially announced by Techland at Gamescom 2024, and it will finally be released for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S today (September 18). It was originally set to arrive next month, but after seeing that more than 1 million players had already secured a copy through pre-orders, the developers decided to move the release date forward.

Preloading for the game started yesterday, so those who want to jump in as soon as it goes live can start downloading it now. The developers shared the official release times on their website, and with so little time left until launch, we can finally count down the hours and minutes until you can dive into the next Dying Light adventure.

When does Dying Light: The Beast launch today?

According to Techland, Dying Light: The Beast will release at 9 AM PDT on Thursday, September 18. However, due to time zone differences, some regions will get it in the early hours of the 19th. To make things easier for you, we’ve listed the Dying Light: The Beast launch times for different regions below:

  • Los Angeles – 9 AM PDT
  • New York – 12 PM EDT
  • London – 5 PM BST
  • Berlin – 6 PM CEST
  • Sydney – 2 AM AEST (September 19)
  • Wellington – 4 AM NZST (September 19)

We’ve also added a countdown clock above, which will make it easier for you to track the exact hours and minutes left until launch. But if you’re unable to see the clock, it means Dying Light: The Beast has launched, and you can dive into it now.
