Elden Ring Nightreign PC system requirements reveal you probably don’t need to upgrade

It’s no secret that Elden Ring was one of the biggest games in recent memory, introducing even more players to the Souls-like genre. Something that may have gone under your radar if you aren’t a FromSoftware fan, however, is an upcoming spin-off. Labeled as a “standalone adventure within the ELDEN RING universe” on its Steam store page, Elden Ring Nightreign is currently available to pre-purchase and will release on May 29th. The game features a 3-player co-op mode.
At the time of writing, there are no system requirements listed on the store page. No need to worry, though. If you’re wondering if your PC will run the game, the official PC system requirements have been posted online, and they’re not too dissimilar from Elden Ring itself.

It looks like Nightreign won’t be too demanding on your system – a nice contrast to recent AAA releases we’ve seen on PC. Here’s what you need to know about the requirements.

In contrast to the likes of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, as well as upcoming DOOM: The Dark Ages, the new Elden Ring spin-off is much less demanding on your system. Those games just mentioned won’t settle for an older GTX card due to a reliance on ray tracing, but Nightreign will even let you get away with a 3GB GTX 1060 at the bare minimum. This is a GPU that was initially released way back in August 2016 as part of the GTX 10 series.
These specifications are similar to what you’ll find in the Elden Ring system requirements, though a more modern processor is requested this time around; the GPU requirements remain the same.
