Fallout 4 shown off ‘ultra modded’ in new video, just in time for the RTX 50 series
Table of Contents
Fallout 4 may not live up to the heights of Fallout 3 or New Vegas in some fans’ eyes, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it remains a fantastic game – and one which is only enhanced by the long list of fanmade mods out there. Many of the best Fallout 4 mods are all about altering or improving the gameplay, but let’s take a minute to focus on visuals.
The game was released back in 2015, so it’s safe to say that better-looking games have been released since then. However, when you throw in a ton of mods designed to improve the visuals with ray-traced color grading, the difference is immediately apparent. This showcase comes just before the release of the RTX 50 series – we’re sure that an RTX 5090 will have no problem running it smoothly maxed out like this.
More than 300 mods combined to improve Fallout 4 visuals
As shared by Digital Dreams on YouTube, Fallout 4 has gotten what they call the ‘Beyond All Limits’ treatment. According to the video description, this runs the game in 8K resolution and introduces ray-tracing color grading. While this isn’t true ray tracing within the engine, it does help improve color balance and lighting. You can check out the results in the video below.
