And if you were planning to pick one up, you’ll be glad to know it’s currently available below the $400 mark at a popular U.S. retailer.

Micro Center is known for offering some solid deals on PC components, and right now, they are offering the Ryzen 7 9800X3D for only $399. This CPU normally costs around $479, but thanks to the offer, you can save $80. The only catch is that you can’t get it delivered to you. You’ll need to visit a nearby Micro Center store to grab it. Plus, if you have a Micro Center Insider Credit Card, you can save an additional $20. This will bring the price down to only $379.99, a rare price for this popular processor.
If you do live near a Micro Center branch and have been planning a CPU upgrade, this deal is worth checking out. The 9800X3D comes equipped with 8 cores and 16 threads, paired with a base clock speed of 4.7 GHz. However, in demanding tasks, it can go up to 5.2 GHz, which is impressive.
