The Steam Autumn sale officially kicked off two days ago, and it has given gamers the opportunity to grab their favorite games at discounted prices. The discounts are different for every game. Some are as low as 5% off, while others go up to 95% off.

One of the games worth picking up during the Steam Autumn Sale is Brotato. This is an incredibly popular title with over 80,000 ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ reviews on Steam. In fact, it is currently the fifth most-played game on the Steam Deck, showing how much handheld users love this roguelike. However, while the game is available at a 40% discount on Steam, you can actually get it for free right now on another platform.

Grab Brotato for free right now on Epic Games

If you don’t mind using platforms other than Steam to get games, then you might want to head over to the Epic Games Store, where Brotato is currently available for free. Once you claim the game, it will be yours to keep forever. However, do keep in mind that the offer will end on December 5, 2024, so make sure to get it before that.

But if you like to get your games on Steam only, then you can also grab Brotato from there for $2.99. It was previously available for $4.99, but the Steam Autumn Sale has slashed its price by 40%.

There’s also a bundle available on Steam, which offers the base game and Abyssal Terrors DLC for only $5.92, which is 34% less than its original $8.98 price tag. The DLC offers a new map with 20 waves of new enemies, elites, and bosses. On top of that, it adds 14 new characters, 16 new weapons, 30+ items, new game mechanics, music tracks, achievements, and more!

Is Brotato worth trying?

If you’re a fan of roguelike games, you should definitely give Brotato a try. In this game, you need to survive waves that last up to 90 seconds, and your main goal is to kill as many aliens as you can during this period. You can choose from over 100 weapons and items, and you also get the luxury to customize your character. The best part? You can tweak the health, damage, and speed of enemies, so the game’s difficulty will depend on you.
