New leaks surrounding the Intel Arc B570 have come to light this week, this time highlighting the performance of the upcoming card in Geekbench’s new AI Benchmark – OpenVINO.

The leak was found by X user Tomasz Gawronski, who shared three Geekbench results from the B580 and the B570. In the leak, as you can see below, the B570 was only 10% slower than the B580, confirming some of the earlier guesses made by various industry experts.

In the benchmark, the B570 graphics card – which is set to be released on January 16th, 2025 – produced a single precision score of 20,213 points, 35,819 half-precision points, and 38,717 quantized points. In the leak, you can see two separate runs using a BIOSTAR B650M motherboard and Intel ARc B580, where the GPU scored 22,337 in single precision, 38,752 in half-precision, and 42,201 in Quantized.

While not overly impressive, it does align with what industry experts expected during the lead-up to its launch.

The B570 is the less-powerful alternative to the B580, which saw plenty of positive feedback during its launch a few months ago. In terms of specs, the B580 offers around 11% more cores than the B570, 20% more memory bandwidth, and 33% more cache. In terms of cost, the B570 will cost $30 cheaper than the B580, around 13% cheaper. That means, at a stretch, you could say the B570 offers better value for money – but we’ll let you be the judge on that one.

While early benchmarks are a great indication of what to expect from any upcoming hardware, we’ll reserve our full judgement until we’ve reviewed the product in full ourselves. The B570 is set to launch on 16th of January, 2025, in the US, UK, Europe and Canada, meaning there isn’t long to wait until we see exactly what this new entry-level GPU brings to the table.
