German food brand Knorr isn’t the first name that comes to mind when you think of PC gaming. There’s a decent chance you’ve never even heard of it, but it has just announced the ‘Knorr SnackSync PC’, a fully functioning gaming rig that will cook your food while you game. The system can cook your Knorr Pasta Pot (other brands may be compatible) using integrated heating and “live in-game signals” to detect downtime in your gameplay.

This project is a collaboration between Knorr and British YouTuber James Bruton, who was challenged with creating the unique pasta pot-cooking gaming PC. You can take a look at the whole building process and the finished product in the video below.

It’s also referred to as the ‘Knorr Gaming Rig’, as seen in the full press release below. The bizarre promotion also includes a collaboration with Polish content creator Kaluch, which involves social media-based challenges.
