Steam’s Summer Sale, which went live yesterday, is offering discounts on a wide range of games. For Steam Deck owners, there are plenty of games available for under $10 and even under $5. But what some people may not know is that one popular game included in the sale can actually be claimed for free on a different platform – Sable is free on Epic.

Sable is free on the Epic Games Store right now

If you head over to Steam, you’ll find Sable listed for $8.74. It was previously available for $24.99, but thanks to the Summer Sale, you can save 65%, which is pretty impressive. However, right now, Epic Games is offering this game for free. So, if you don’t mind adding the game to your Epic library instead of Steam, you can get it without spending a dime.

Epic Games gives away new games every week, and they have been doing this for years. The best part is that they have even given away popular titles in the past, such as GTA V, SIFU, and Hell Let Loose. Last week, they offered The Operator, which has now been replaced by Sable. On July 3, Sable will be replaced by Backpack Hero and Figment.

Sable is a relaxing, open-world exploration game that follows a young girl named Sable. She is about to begin her Gliding, a special journey that all members of her tribe must take. Throughout the game, you’ll get to travel across beautiful deserts, strange landscapes, and the ruins of old spaceships, which will help you learn more about the world.

Instead of focusing on combat, Sable takes a different approach and keeps everything peaceful. You’ll get to ride a hoverbike around, which can be customized using different parts. On top of that, on your journey, you’ll need to solve puzzles, climb giant structures, and interact with new interesting characters. You’ll also have the chance to collect masks and outfits, and even go fishing in the desert to build your own bug and fish collection.
