Intel Arc GPUs haven’t quite made the mark on the market as Intel might’ve hoped. According to research earlier in the year, Nvidia, AMD, and Intel had an 88%, 12%, and 0% market share in Q1’24, respectively.Â
However, that didn’t stop Intel from supporting its GPUs. The latest drivers for the Arc GPUs and Xe graphics for Core Ultra processors are out, bringing support for more games. We’ve also seen the Geekbench performance for one of the upcoming Intel GPUs, Battlemage G21, which is a step in the right direction but far from giving the competition any trouble.
What’s new with the Intel graphic drivers?
The latest Intel graphic driver, version 32.0.101.6130_101.6048, is 1.6 GB in size and recommended for the following Windows. You can download the driver from Intel’s website.
- Windows 11 (24H2)
- Windows 11 (23H2)
- Windows 11 (22H2)
- Windows 11 (21H2)
- Windows 10 (22H2)
This driver brings support for modern and upcoming games and improves the load times.
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard
- Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
- Red Dead Redemption
There was another title included, but now it has been redacted, and maybe it’ll be included in the next driver update. According to Intel, this driver update increases the in-game performance of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered by an average of 6% at 1080p very high settings, running with DX12.
