Intel’s next-gen Wildcat Lake laptop processors leak online in massive batch of shipping data
Table of Contents
Currently expected to launch in early 2026, Wildcat Lake is the codename for Intel’s next low-power mobile processor series designed for entry-level devices such as notebooks. This is not to be confused with Panther Lake, which is reserved for the more powerful family of mobile processors widely available in devices from January 2026 (as confirmed by Intel).
Following a leak of Panther Lake SKUs in online shipping data a couple of months ago, we now have our first glimpse of the Wildcat Lake series in shipping manifests. Upcoming Panther Lake-powered laptops like the Acer Swift 16 AI have already been demoed, but we’re yet to see any hardware that will house the entry-level Wildcat Lake series.
Intel Wildcat Lake shipping data surfaces online
Spotted on NBD Data, a reliable source of global trade data, the Wildcat Lake shipping information was posted by @x86deadandback on X, revealing a large amount of shipments for the upcoming series of Intel processors.
This leak doesn’t specify the product names for the Wildcat Lake processors. An early glimpse into Panther Lake last month, however, did reveal a total of twelve CPU names, covering Panther Lake-H and Panther Lake-U models. We’ll have to wait and see if Wildcat Lake will feature just as many models and/or architectural variations. Based on what we know so far, Wildcat Lake looks like it will be the successor to Intel Twin Lake, which covered a small number of ‘Core 3’ CPUs under the Twin Lake-N codename.
An older leak from a reliable source, Jaykihn, revealed the supposed specs for the entry-level series. This is from February 2025, so be sure to take it with a grain of salt. Regardless, here’s what they revealed for Wildcat Lake.
