InWin’s massive AEON signature chassis was among the best PC cases we saw at Computex this year
Table of Contents
You’re surrounded by interesting technology at Computex – including the weird and wonderful. Custom gaming PC builds are always a joy to look at (we still remember the Monster Hunter build from last year), and this year also came with some interesting & impractical custom designs. However, a legitimate product that caught our attention comes from the Taiwanese brand InWin.
InWin’s AEON is the brand’s 12th-Generation Signature Chassis, flaunting it as “a mechanized architectural statement” in its CES 2026 press release from earlier this year. It has been on display at Computex in Taipei this week, easily standing out among the crowd of boxy displays scattered around the showfloor. Others, including a custom PC that doubled as a drinks dispenser.
InWin AEON at Computex 2026
As you’d probably expect from a striking PC case like this, InWin isn’t selling it short in its marketing. The team says it drew inspiration “from messages sent across time, arriving from a future yet to unfold” – all we can say is: make of that what you will. The chassis features 1.5mm-thick mirror-finished stainless steel panels with an anti-fingerprint coating to maintain its sleek reflective look. It even features an LED display on the base and RFID personalization, accessed only via a dedicated card.

More custom PC builds we saw at Computex 2026
As for some of the more creative and experimental designs, there were a handful to take a long look at. A mech-style design surrounded by tubes was one that immediately caught our eye, but it’s perhaps the drinks-dispensing lion’s head that became a (sort of) watercooler moment at the G.Skill booth, all the while having an extra practical use.
The lion’s head was a collaboration between Taiwan-based KM Studio and a custom builder known as Poppyka, fitted with an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X and MSI RTX 5070 combo. Another close-by build had the relatively odd pairing of an Intel Core i9-14900KF and the Radeon RX 5700 XT, while the ‘wheel’ build from designer JP Modified packed in a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5070 Mini
