Battlestar Galactica Deadlock is a 3D strategy game where every move counts. You take command of powerful ships, launch fighter squadrons, and lead your fleet through intense space battles. The story begins after a surprise Cylon attack wipes out the Colonial High Command. Now, Rear-Admiral Lucinda Cain must lead what’s left of the fleet and fight to save the Twelve Colonies. You’ll be in charge of building fleets, assigning officers, and even handling political challenges in the War Room. Along the way, you’ll uncover hidden plots and do your best to keep the alliance strong.
You’ll meet both familiar and new faces from the Battlestar Galactica universe. The game uses a special WEGO turn-based system, where you plan your moves, then watch the battle play out in real-time 3D. There’s also a multiplayer mode where you can battle another player 1-on-1, plus a cinematic replay tool to review and save your best fights.
The best part is that the game is also Playable on the Steam Deck, meaning it should run fine on the handheld after some tweaks and adjustments. The compatibility notes suggest you’ll need to stray away from the default controls sometimes.
