Which gaming PC should I buy on Prime Day?

Budget is one of the first factors to consider when buying a prebuilt gaming PC. You should always be aware of the added expense from purchasing a pre-built system, as opposed to buying all the parts and doing it yourself. However, while Prime Day is live, these healthy discounts help soften that blow. Plus, you’re getting a professionally built system fitted with some of the best hardware on the market, which you can simply plug in and play.

More than $2,000

One solid pick has to be the Corsair Vengeance a5100, which features an RTX 5080 GPU and 7800X3D CPU combo for high-end gaming. This is definitely more on the expensive side, currently costing $3,599.99 after an $800 price cut. As an alternative, we’d have to recommend the Alienware Aurora ACT1250 – also fitted with a 5080, but with Intel’s top Core Ultra 9 285 processor. You miss out on the X3D gaming boost, but this Prime Big Deal is not one to miss, just $2,399.99 for Prime members.

$1,500-2,000

Within this bracket, dropping just below the $2,000 mark is the Skytech Gaming O11 Vision, currently priced at $1,989.99. This AMD build features two of the brand’s flagship gaming components: the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Radeon RX 9070 XT. For something much cheaper, we’d recommend the Thermaltake LCGS View i1470S-170 for $1,529.98 – with an RTX 5070 and i7-14700F processor.

Under $1,500

There are also plenty of options if you’re looking for a mid-range or lower gaming PC, ideal for 1080p or 1440p gaming. The first option we’d suggest is the iBUYPOWER Slate MESH. Like the Thermaltake build above, it comes with an RTX 5070 and Intel’s last-gen i7-14700F. It’s currently 20% off for Prime members, coming in at $1,439.99. As a much more budget-friendly alternative, turn your attention to the Lenovo Legion Tower 5i with an RTX 5060 Ti ($1,249.99) or CyberPowerPC’s entry-level RTX 5060 build for just $839.99 on Prime Day.
