TechPowerUp has released a new update to its popular GPU-Z software. The latest 2.66.0 version has been released with the addition of support for a range of both Nvidia and AMD graphics cards, including recent releases and ones on the way.

The software is used to determine the details of the GPU in your system, going into each spec in detail to ensure it’s what it says it is, or provide insight if you’re not sure, such as when looking at a laptop. But used across the board, we included it as a lightweight option for some great information, including finding out the missing ROPs on RTX 50 series cards.

RX 9060 XT support, plus RTX 5060 and 5070 laptops

Now it adds support for the upcoming release of the RX 9060 XT, the card whose early benchmarks show it competing against the RTX 5060. Plus, with aggressive pricing, AMD might have a good contender going for it, as long as the 16GB version is the card you go for instead of the 8GB. But it’s also the more server-oriented Pro W7900 that gets support in the software.

Nvidia’s latest chips also have added support to GPU-Z with this update, as both the gaming and server cards will be recognized by the software. Since the previous update adding support was at the beginning of April, there are plenty of cards to add since then.

For Nvidia, that includes:

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060
  • RTX 5070 Ti Mobile
  • RTX 5070 Mobile
  • RTX 5060 Mobile
  • RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell
  • Quadro RTX 5000 (TU104-B)

There is just the one addition of a GeForce discrete graphics card, as three new mobile chips have been added. A whole new range of gaming laptop GPUs are getting supported covering the mid to low range, after the top range GPUs were added in the previous update. It also adds a sprinkle of workstation cards, although we’re not sure how many of those will ever be found with GPU-Z; that’s a lot more consumer-based.
