If you’re looking to kick off an AM5 gaming build and want some of the best components on the market for less, then this is the deal for you. Right now, Newegg has an excellent bundle offer that gets you the outstanding AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, an excellent ASUS ROG X870E HERO motherboard, and 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM for $1,122.00, saving you close to $100.

This bundle is seriously good, and gives you a great foundation for a high-performance gaming PC, and a great setup to further build on for years to come.

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO and CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 32GB bundle

What we like about this bundle

The CPU here is the brilliant Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which we’ve reviewed and were blown away by. It boasts 8 cores, 16 threads, a boost clock of 5.2 GHz, TDP of 120W, and massive 96MB L3 cache. As with the previous X3D models, it’s all about gaming performance, and this CPU would pair very nicely with even the absolute best GPUs on the market.

The motherboard is also a winner and from one of the top brands on the market. It’s an X870E motherboard, which is one of the latest that’s compatible with the AM5 socket. In contrast to some lower or mid-range AM5 motherboards, this has everything you’d need to take advantage of the latest Gen5 components. You’ll be able to use Gen5 NVMe SSDs with this and it’s even got WIFI 7 connectivity.

Finally, the RAM. Corsair Vengeance is one of the most popular options around, and delvers excellent speeds, but also stunning design worthy of display. This is DDR5 RAM, so it’s about twice as fast as DDR4, and it’s also RGB for some visual interest. 32GB is also more than enough for a powerful gaming PC build.

Who’s this bundle for?

Even with the savings, it’s still quite the expensive investment, but these are all very high-end components that would be ideal for more powerful gaming PC builds. If you want to save a bit more cash, I’d recommend sticking with an AM5 bundle, but scaling down on the motherboard and CPU. A Ryzen 7 7800X3D is a good shout for starters, and still good enough to be paired with some of the top GPUs.

Amazon has some interesting bundle deals that are typically only motherboard and CPU combos that are worth checking out right now, and if you fancy switching it up, Newegg is also doing a good Intel Core Ultra CPU, motherboard, and RAM deal that a little more wallet friendly.
