Lenovo will be giving away two Capcom classics next month, and they’re great for the Legion Go

Lenovo has announced another round of free PC games through its Legion Gaming Community Platform, and this time, fans are in for a treat. The company regularly gives away free titles to members of its community, and after offering The Ascent in June, it’s now preparing to hand out two Capcom classics in August: Ultra Street Fighter IV and Strider.
Not to make you feel old, but we’re going to say they’re classics now that they’re both 10+ years old. Both of them work great for a controller-style setup, so Lenovo’s Legion Go handheld seems like the perfect match. Especially USF4, if you fancy using this arcade machine mod we found a few months ago.
Ultra Street Fighter IV and Strider are free to keep next month
The first free game, Ultra Street Fighter IV, will be available to claim starting August 6. Later in the month, on August 20, Lenovo will release Strider. Both games together have a combined value of more than $40. Normally, Ultra Street Fighter IV costs $29.99, while Strider is priced at $14.99. With this giveaway, players can grab them at no cost if they act fast.

As part of the legendary Street Fighter franchise, Ultra Street Fighter IV builds on the original and Super versions by including the full existing roster plus five new characters and six extra stages. It delivers all the competitive fighting action fans expect, with refined gameplay and a massive lineup of fighters to choose from. Just don’t mention Elena to any SF4 fan.
On the other hand, Strider takes players on a fast-paced, side-scrolling adventure. Known for its lightning-quick combat, the game lets you explore with the agility of a ninja. Players can traverse across different surfaces, striking enemies from nearly any direction. The character of Strider Hiryu gained more popularity due to his inclusion in the Marvel vs Capcom series.

The giveaways are happening through Lenovo’s Legion Gaming Community, and while there’s no time limit on when you can claim the keys, there is a catch: the number of keys is limited. That means once they’re gone, they’re gone.
To increase your chances, make sure you’ve created a Legion Gaming Community account ahead of time and keep an eye on the giveaway timer so you can claim the games as soon as they go live. And for those wondering, both games will be available as Steam keys, and you’ll also be able to play them on your Legion Go.
