Prime Big Deal Days are coming up to the half way mark for many of us, but we’re still uncovering epic offers that are far too good to miss. Case in point, a 2024 line of Hisense TVs that are designed with gaming in mind are now massively reduced on Amazon.
I think they’re well worth considering if you’re looking for the most bang for your buck and happen to own a mid to high-end gaming PC, PS5, or Xbox Series X, and as you’ll see, they have far more in common with a high-end gaming monitor than you’d expect.

What’s special about this line of TVs?
So the big thing here with these TVs is that they have a lot in common with your typical gaming monitor. What you’ll find with all of these is a refresh rate of 144hz – which for all intents and purposes means that you can play games at up to 144fps. But here’s the kicker – that would look horrible if you had high input lag, high response time, and a lack of adaptive sync technology…
Thankfully, and Hisense isn’t the only place doing this, these issues have been addressed so you can game in high frames per second and avoid any annoying stuttering when the action hots up. In fact, with these TVs you’re looking at input lag as low as 6ms in addition to AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to keep things running smoothly. That’s not unlike what you find in a premium gaming monitor.
On to the panel itself – which is Mini-LED. This type of panel positions itself above QLED and below OLED. It’s a sort of premium, but not super premium panel technology that’s characterised by its crisp, bright, and high contrast picture quality. Now you may think you’re missing out on OLED, but Mini-LED TVs like these are generally brighter than their more expensive alternatives. Some of these Hisense TVs can reach up to 1500 nits, which for reference is around five times the level an average gaming monitor can do. This means you can use this in a well-lit room, and still see what you’re doing with no issues. OLED, on the other hand can fall down in the same scenario.
Finally, there’s also Game Bar that allows you to adjust the picture settings in real-time. So if you want to toggle AMD FreeSync on or off, you can do so with ease.
Are these TVs the right ones for you?
If you’re looking for a TV that you can hook up a powerful gaming device to, and you don’t fancy shelling out on an LG, Samsung, or Sony alternative, I’d say it’s worth considering this line of TVs for sure. Where this line of TVs really shines is just how much you get for the price in terms of size. An 85-inch TV for 1,497.99 is about the same price as an LG C3 65-inch TV, but the difference in size is significant. If you’re trying to get the most bang for your buck and have something that’ll be epic for gaming and movie nights, I think these Hisense TVs are all good options.
