Processor: Ryzen 7 9800X3D

First, we have the Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU. This CPU was launched yesterday, and the demand for it was so high that it sold out within a few minutes of launch on popular retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and Newegg. In any case, it is the first 9000X3D CPU to hit the market, offering 8 cores and 16 threads. On top of that, it has a base frequency of 4.7 GHz, which can go up to 5.20 GHz. As it also supports overclocking, you can push it way past that.

When it comes to performance, AMD promises that it delivers 20% better gaming performance than Intel’s latest Core Ultra 285K CPU, and early reviews showed this as well. On top of that, when compared to its predecessor, the 7800X3D, it offers 8% better performance. Thanks to its performance, it is easily one of the best gaming CPUs available in the market right now.

Motherboard: ASUS B650-E TUF Gaming WiFi AM5

For the motherboard, Micro Center has included the ASUS B650-E TUF Gaming WiFi AM5. This DDR5 motherboard offers an all-black theme and looks pretty solid. However, as it is a mid-range board, it doesn’t offer anything fancy like RGB. But this shouldn’t bother those who like to keep things minimal and don’t like turning their office into a disco.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the board can support up to four DDR5 RAM sticks, with a max capacity of 192GB. For storage, there are three M.2 slots for your high-speed SSDs. However, there are also six SATA 6GB/s ports for standard HDDs. Aside from that, you’ll find eight USB ports, one Display and HDMI port, one WiFi module, five Audio Jacks, and a 2.5G Ethernet Port for high-speed internet connections on the back panel.

RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 Series

Micro Center has paired the above two components with G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5 RAM. The kit includes two 16GB sticks, each capable of reaching a speed of up to 6000 MHz. This much RAM will be more than enough for most games and productivity software, and it will also help keep the overall performance of your system smooth. But if needed, you can always upgrade in the future.

How much will you save?

If you buy the three components individually, you’d have to spend around $760. However, thanks to the Micro Center bundle, you can get them for only $680, saving $80. The money you save can be used to get other components, such as one of the best AIO coolers or one of the best power supplies for gaming. On top of that, the 9800X3D is pretty difficult to get right now, so you can easily secure a unit with this bundle.
