Micro Center has a habit of introducing new bundles from time to time, each aimed at helping PC enthusiasts get several important components for a low price. They usually pair a processor, motherboard, and RAM together, and by opting for the complete bundle, you can save a good amount of cash. The same can be said for their latest customizable 9800X3D bundle.

What does the bundle offer?

Just like most other component bundles available at Micro Center, their latest one also includes the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and 32GB of DDR5 RAM. For the motherboard, there are three options to choose from: the ASUS B650-E TUF Gaming WiFi, MSI X670E MAG Tomahawk WiFi, and ASUS X870E-E ROG Strix Gaming WiFi.

CPU

For starters, the bundle includes the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which is easily one of the best gaming processors on the market. It features 8 cores and 16 threads, with a base clock of 4.7 GHz and a boost clock of up to 5.20 GHz. The best part is that it supports overclocking, something that wasn't possible with previous-gen X3D processors. We also tested and reviewed the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, giving it a perfect five out of five for its exceptional performance.

Motherboard

For the motherboard, you can choose from three options: the ASUS B650-E TUF Gaming WiFi, MSI X670E MAG Tomahawk WiFi, and ASUS X870E-E ROG Strix Gaming WiFi. The price of the bundle will vary depending on the motherboard you select. The ASUS B650-E TUF Gaming WiFi is the default option, while the MSI X670E MAG Tomahawk WiFi adds $50. If you go with the high-end ASUS X870E-E ROG Strix Gaming WiFi, it will cost an additional $280.

RAM

Finally, for the RAM, Micro Center has included the G.Skill Flare X5 Series DDR5 32GB. The kit includes two 16GB sticks, each capable of reaching a max speed of 6,000 MHz. Most video games these days require only 16GB of RAM, so you’ll be more than fine with 32GB in games and productivity software. You can, of course, upgrade to something higher later if needed.

How much will you save?

If you choose the standard bundle with the ASUS B650-E TUF Gaming WiFi motherboard, it will cost $699.99, saving you $29.98. The bundle with the MSI X670E MAG Tomahawk WiFi is priced at $749.99, with total savings of $89.98 on all three components. Finally, the high-end bundle with the ASUS X870E-E ROG Strix Gaming WiFi motherboard costs $979.99, offering savings of $59.98.
