Black Friday graphics card deals are rolling in, and we’re spotting a fair with hefty price drops well worth checking out. This compact MSI Ventus RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is currently $70 off at Newegg, down from $529.99 to $459.99, and at its lowest price in 30 days, too. This would be one of the best graphics cards to go for if you’re looking for something SFF, that’s going to be very capable at both 1080p and 1440p gaming, in addition to various creative workloads, without breaking the bank, that is.

Key features of this MSI Ventus RTX 5060 Ti graphics card

Nvidia Blackwell Architecture and 16GB of VRAM

Since this is built on Nvidia’s latest Blackwell architecture, it means that you’re getting access to big generational improvements across both performance and efficiency. You’ve got everything from next-gen CUDA cores, 4th Gen ray tracing cores with enhanced capabilities, and 5th-generation Tensor Cores, which provide up to three times the performance of 4th-gen. On top of that, you’ve got the latest GDDR7 VRAM, which has much higher bandwidth than GDDR6 and is much faster, resulting in smoother gaming performance and less lag in creative applications. You’ve also got DLSS 4 and MFG, which can enhance gaming performance significantly beyond what the card is capable of in terms of raw power.

Some overclocking potential

This card is slightly overclocked out of the box, but can be pushed further via the MSI centre, which is software that allows you to monitor and optimize your GPU for overclocking. That being said, this card does have some features designed to keep temperatures down, especially when under heavy and sustained loads. Its Ventus Cooling system includes two fans with TORX Fan 5.0 design. These are linked by ring arcs that work to stabilize and maintain high-pressure airflow. Alongside this, there’s a nickel-plated copper baseplate for exceptional heat transfer, and a square design core pipe that maximizes contact with the GPU baseplate.

Performance

We’ve tested and reviewed another RTX 5060 Ti 16B, so we can give you a rough idea of what to expect in terms of performance. In Cyberpunk 2077, it managed 123fps at 1080p and 52fps with ray tracing. For 1440p, it hit 78fps and 32fps with ray tracing. Less demanding titles like Doom Eternal were playable at very high frame rates, even with ray tracing enabled, such as 207fps at 1080p and 162fps at 1440p. Keep in mind that these are without DLSS upscaling and MFG, which significantly boost framerates and performance even further.

Is this graphics card right for you?

This would be a good card to go for if you’re looking for something relatively affordable and SFF in the mid-range price bracket, that’s going to be good for 1080p, 1440p, and more demanding creative workloads that require more VRAM. It’s also excellent if you want to experience all the improvements Nvidia’s new Blackwell Architecture has to offer, and if you fancy a touch of overclocking from time to time. That being said, there are some things to consider, with one being that other RTX 5060 Ti options are much more overclocked out of the box than this one, and it’s worth reading a few more reviews about the fan noise, as we have seen a couple of comments suggesting that they can get loud for a smaller card.
