We’ve already seen one way to save on the Nintendo Switch 2 today. You can save $100 on a brand-new model by shopping at wholesale retailer Sam’s Club. However, now we’ve spotted two more ways of saving a chunk of cash, both of them through Walmart. If you don’t mind opting for a pre-owned or open-box model, Walmart currently offers a nice discount on the Switch 2 bundled with Mario Kart World.

Nintendo’s latest console was always bound to be a hotly contested product during the Black Friday sales and wider holiday season. Right now, you can grab one for as cheap as $322, albeit for a pre-owned model. Walmart says that the product is in “Like New” condition. There’s also an open-box model for just over $40 extra, if you prefer.

Should you get an open box or pre-owned Nintendo Switch 2?

While it’s definitely worth noting that neither of these models may be as sparkling brand-new as an unboxed Switch 2, it doesn’t mean they’re not worth your time. There are a few safeguards in place to ensure that the console you order doesn’t arrive in bad shape. And if it does, then you can always send it back.

In addition to supposedly coming from a loving home (otherwise known as a “trust & performance-managed” seller), Walmart also guarantees 30-day free returns if you find that your pre-owned Switch 2 isn’t up to scratch. As for the open-box model, we expect it to be in better condition, so that’s the safer bet if you have to choose between these devices. We expect stock to be snapped up pretty quickly, so don’t delay if you’re in the market for one.
