Nvidia is celebrating “the season of RTX” with its latest wave of announcements. Assetto Corsa Rally is the latest game to get DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation support; the game enters early access on November 13. And if you’re a DOOM fan, then you’ll be happy to know that Nvidia GPU owners can now get an exclusive skin for its latest instalment – The Dark Ages.

DOOM: The Dark Ages was released back in May this year as an Nvidia-sponsored title, even coming with an exclusive bundle (sadly, the promotion is no longer available). Regardless, a new exclusive offer has come along in the form of a GeForce Reward. The DOOM Slayer Oynx Skin is now available to anyone with a GTX 10-series or newer GPU.

Like we said, anyone with a 10-series or newer card can redeem the Onyx skin right now. Nvidia notes that this is available “while supplies last,” so don’t delay if you fancy the new shiny armor. The reward runs until the end of the year, on December 31. It’s interesting to see older GTX graphics cards qualifying for this promotion, especially given The Dark Ages’ system requirements ask for hardware raytracing as a minimum – in other words, RTX or newer.

“This reward is available to NVIDIA app users with a GeForce GTX 10 Series or newer GPU. Supplies are limited, so claim it now before it’s gone!”

The latest DOOM instalment maintains a ‘Very Positive’ rating in Steam user reviews, so it’s safe to say that the majority of fans have grown to love it, despite its noticeable design changes compared to the previous two entries. The game also got Steam Deck Verified last month, so it’s a nice title for gaming on the go. Don’t expect super smooth performance, as it targets 30 FPS performance at 720p, but it isn’t terrible given the relatively demanding requirements.
