Nvidia RTX 5080 and 5070 flash sale from a bright green shipping container draws crowds at Bilibili World
If you’re outside of China, there’s a decent chance you haven’t heard of Bilibili World, or Bilibili at all. It’s an online video sharing site – essentially the YouTube of China. Bilibili World is an in-person event that kicked off in Shanghai just a few days ago, attracting hundreds of thousands of fans to visit a plethora of exhibitors and content creators. Nvidia also had its own booth at the expo.
The sight of a bright-green shipping container topped with Nvidia’s logo clearly grabbed many attendees’ attention, causing massive lines to form at the chance of getting a Founders Edition RTX 5080 or RTX 5070 in a reported flash sale.
Founders Edition RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 graphics cards on sale at the Nvidia booth
Nvidia was located at booth 3H-3A30, and you couldn’t really miss them. It reminds us of when the GPU maker was selling graphics cards out of a bright green food truck turned merch stand at GTC 2025 in San Jose, CA. Perhaps this will turn into a regular thing at tech events around the world. Anyway, according to Nasi Lemak Tech, Nvidia had a ‘flash sale’ running for 5080 and 5070 FE cards, though there’s no confirmation of how much they were selling for.
The report says that fans were queuing up for hours for the chance to score one of the GPUs. We’ve recently seen the RTX 5070 for MSRP in the U.S., as well as some price drops for the 5080 in Europe, which you could say are long overdue, considering the poor pricing and scalping issues at launch earlier this year.

One PC gamer, Xiao Wang – who already owns an RTX 4090 laptop – reportedly said that he “can’t wait to try Black Myth: Wukong with the new 5080 FE,” while a cosplayer named Hei Tu was equally excited to grab a Founders Edition 5080, upgrading from the RTX 4070. “It’s for both, really – for the pure joy of Helldivers II at its best, and for the serious crunching power I need for my computer vision AI models,” he said.
