What we think of the 7800X3D
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is an exceptional processor when it comes to gaming, delivering industry-leading performance that rivals the very best. However, its multi-core capabilities still lag slightly behind competitors, making it less ideal for users with heavy productivity or content creation workloads. While the addition of a second CCD (Core Complex Die) adds some versatility, it’s not quite enough to position this CPU as a true all-rounder.
The 7800X3D is a fantastic chip and much improved over the previous generation. This CPU will smash through any gaming workload you throw at it, and be able to handle productivity tasks much better then before, although it still is a little limited in that department.
