Perfect time to upgrade as popular Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU drops below $380
Table of Contents
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is still one of the most popular gaming CPUs on the market, delivering exceptional performance when paired with a high-end GPU. Luckily, while pricing for CPUs is still fairly unstable, we’ve managed to find a cracking deal on teh 7800X3D that is well worth a second look.
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D was released back in April 2023. Even though it’s been out for over two years, demand for it remains strong. In fact, just a few months ago, the CPU was marked as “sold out” on several popular retailers. And when it was restocked, the price was higher than before. And if you’ve been waiting for a good deal to pick one up, we’ve got good news.
7800X3D drops below the $380 mark
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is usually available for $445 on Amazon, which is way higher than what it was listed for around 10 months ago. While there have been occasional discounts, not everyone has been able to take advantage of them. If you missed out before, now’s your chance, as the CPU is currently listed for only $384.99 on Amazon. This is 14% less than its original price tag, and you can save $64 thanks to the deal.

For those wondering, the 7800X3D comes packed with eight cores and 16 threads. On top of that, it runs at a base clock of 4.2 GHz and can boost up to 5 GHz for demanding tasks like gaming. As an X3D chip, it’s built specifically for gamers and delivers excellent performance.
It also has a fairly low TDP of only 120W, so you won’t have to worry about getting a massive PSU for it. However, do keep in mind that, as it belongs to the previous generation of X3D processors, it doesn’t support overclocking. That feature is only available on the newer 9000X3D series. Despite this, it still delivers exceptional performance, which is why it got 4.5 out of 5 marks in our in-depth review.
