Table of Contents
If you’re looking for an RTX 50-series gaming PC for less, we’ve got you covered right here. We’ve spotted one of Skytech’s finest RTX 5080 prebuilds going for over $310 off at Amazon, reduced from $3,712.17 to $3,399.46, and we think it’s well worth considering.
For the price, this is one of the more expensive RTX 5080 options available, but that’s with good reason. It features one of the very best gaming CPUs you get, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a large 2TB SSD. Since it’s Skytech, you’re also getting high-spec cooling, alongside one of its most stylish PC cases, which is also optimized for maximum airflow, too. For 1440p and 4K gaming, demanding creative tasks, and all things AI, this is a great PC to go for.

Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor
This is one of the best CPUs for gaming you can buy right now, and one of our top picks to pair with the RTX 5080. While it may only have modest core and thread count, or 8 and 16, it stands out from the crowd due to its high 5.2GHz boost clock speed, exceptional single-core performance, and enormous L3 cache. This 3D V-cache comes in at 96MB and is designed in a way to allow for much more data to be stored and for much faster access, too. This dramatically reduces frame latency, making it excellent for high FPS gaming. Read our full review here.

Other features
You’ve got a hefty 850W Gold rating PSU, 360mm AIO cooling system, and aRGB throughout. On top of that, this is one of Skytech’s more stylish PC cases, featuring a mesh front panel design, combined with a tempered glass panel to give you full view of the PC’s inner workings.
Things to consider
The CPU here is very much designed with gaming in mind, which is why it doesn’t have a huge core and thread count, or a dedicated NPU to assist with productivity workflows. If you’re splitting your time between gaming and content creation, you may want to look at CPUs such as the Intel Core Ultra 7 265K instead. This has a much higher core and thread count, high boost clock speed, and dedicated NPU with 13 TOPS. It has a smaller L3 cache of 30MB, which is the trade-off, but it will be better for hybrid usage than the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and PC builds with it will be roughly the same price.
