Newegg still has some cracking deals to jump on, even after Cyber Monday, and it still looks like one of the best times of the year to grab an RTX 50-series gaming PC for less. Take this IPASON Zyron RTX 5080 gaming PC, for instance, which is down $800.99, and is currently reduced from $3,699.99 to $2,899.00.

This is a fantastic-looking gaming PC that packs a visual punch, but is also very much made for high-end 1440p and 4K gaming performance. Not only are you getting one of the best graphics cards on the market, but you’re also getting one of the best gaming CPUs, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. If you’re all about gaming at max settings, high framerates, and super smooth gameplay, this PC is well worth checking out while it’s on sale.

Key features of this IPASON Zyron Gaming Desktop

RTX 5080 graphics card and Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor

This PC has a powerhouse GPU and CPU combo that’s excellent for gaming performance. The RTX 5080 is a top-tier graphics card that’s largely used for 4K gaming, but is a monster for 1440p at extremely high framerates. It has 16GB of new and improved GDDR7 VRAM, which is much faster than your standard GDDR6, and boasts a host of improvements courtesy of Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture. These include the latest ray tracing and tensor cores, alongside features like DLSS4 with MFG, which can significantly ramp up perceived framerates by inserting up to three frames between two when gaming. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D boasts 8 cores, 16 threads, a big boost clock speed of 5.2GHz, and a massive 96MB L3 Cache. Its unique 3D V-cache is what makes it a cut above most CPUs, as it dramatically reduces frame latency, making it ideal for smoother gaming performance.

32GB of RAM and 2TB SSD

The ideal amount of RAM and storage, in our opinion, is without driving the price too high or being overkill for gaming. The RAM here is DDR5, as expected, which is going to help keep everything feeling snappy and responsive. The SSD is Gen4, which may not have the latest Gen5 speeds, but it is going to assist with loading and booting times, and with any workflow where you have to transfer large files.

Other standout features

You’ve got a 360MM AIO liquid cooling solution here, with five aRGB fans, and a PC case that’s smaller, but still designed for maximum airflow. What’s more, the PC case itself looks incredible, thanks to its eye-catching, glass panel design, which allows for a full view of the PC’s inner workings.

Considerations and alternatives

This is a gaming build, first and foremost, so if you’re looking for something more capable for demanding video editing, 3D rendering, and more, you may want to explore some of the Intel Core Ultra variants instead. That’s simply because they have higher core and thread counts, alongside dedicated NPUs, which can both enhance a range of different productivity and creative workflows. It’s also worth noting that this is one of the more expensive RTX 5080 builds out there, and you can find cheaper options for closer to $2,500 when discounted. The trade-off is that they will have a lower-tier processor, but if grabbing something with an RTX 5080 is your main priority, these more affordable options could be a better choice.

It’s also worth noting that this product is temporarily suspended from sale to California, as per the note from Newegg on the product listing.
