Super sleek design
Since this is a QD-OLED monitor, it’s not traditionally backlit like an LED option, making it much easier to be slimline. Samsung has gone all in here with a modern metal finish and ultra-slim design, making this one of the best-looking gaming monitors we’ve come across.
Who’s this monitor for?
To be honest, this is a cracking deal and delivers excellent value for money, but if you’re looking for something primarily for competitive gaming, you could be better off with a 360Hz version instead. Very high framerates of over 300fps at QHD take a pretty punchy PC to achieve, but they are excellent for specific games, especially some first-person shooters. As you’d expect, they’re a little more expensive, but it could be worth it for a competitive edge. Samsung is good for these, if you’re looking for something sleek, but MSI, LG UltraGear, and ASUS ROG are also great.
