Cyber Monday deals are rolling in, and it looks like if you’re a Prime Member, you can score a super-premium RTX 5070 graphics card for a great low price. MSI Gaming RTX 5070 12G Vanguard SOC Graphics Card

(12GB GDDR7, 192-bit, Extreme Performance: 2655 MHz, DisplayPort x3 2.1a, HDMI 2.1b, NVIDIA Blackwell Architecture)

Key features of this MSI Gaming RTX 5070 Vanguard graphics card

Advanced cooling and RGB

This card features a Hyper Frozr Thermal design, which has three Stormforce fans for powerful, but quiet cooling. It also has an advanced steam chamber, designed to efficiently transfer heat from the GPU and VRAM to the heat pipes. The heat pipes themselves are also square-shaped for maximum contact, and there’s a rigid metal backplate for both increased structural support and maximum heat dissipation. In terms of aesthetics, this card boasts a futuristic design with customizable RGB, which can also be synchronized with other components via the MSI Center application.

Super overclocked performance

This is an ‘SOC’ graphics card, or super overclocked, so you’re getting 2655 MHz ‘Extreme Performance’ boost clock speeds. That’s a fair bit higher than your standard RTX 5070’s 2510 MHz, and ideal for those who want to get as much performance as possible out of this card. The MSI Afterburning software is also going to be great if you want a more detailed overclocking experience, allowing you to monitor and adjust settings in real-time.

Blackwell Architecture and 12GB of VRAM

The RTX 5070 is built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell Architecture, which brings with it a whole host of performance improvements over the previous gen. You’ve got 4th-gen Ray tracing cores, 5th-gen Tensor cores, new GDDR7 VRAM, and features like MFG to enhance framerates when gaming. It also features 12GB of VRAM, which allows this card to handle 1440p at high settings and moderately demanding creative workflows easily. Considerations before buying

The card itself is fantastic, and for the price, it’s well worth it in our opinion, so the only real consideration is whether 12GB of VRAM is going to be enough for you. The RTX 5070 Ti 16GB is a better option if you want to game in 1440p with ray tracing and have the option of gaming in 4K. It’s also a better way to go if you need something for more demanding creative workflows, like 3D rendering, whereas the RTX 5070 would be better suited to moderately demanding video editing at higher resolutions. RtX 5070 Ti graphics cards are around $200 more, but we’re spotting loads of them in the sales. Check out our top graphics card picks below to see what’s out there.
