Black Friday is coming up fast, but we’re already seeing some excellent tech deals roll in. This Prime Member exclusive deal knocks 21% off this excellent 49-inch Innocn gaming monitor, reducing it from $1,259.99 to $994.99 on Amazon. It’s a very impressive monitor that’s designed for serious productvity as much as it is for immerssive gaming. It features a stunning OLED display, 240Hz refresh rate, and is dual-QHD resolution. For under $1,000, we think it brings a lot to the table, and paired with the right PC should make for a truly epic home setup.

What we like about this Innocn 49-inch gaming monitor
This monitor has a lot going for it, so let’s start off with the screen itself. This monitor has an impressive OLED display, which is going to be great for more lifelike picture quality and excellent contrast. It’s 5120 x 1440p, wnich is essentially two QHD monitors fused toegther, and ideal for both creating a wider field of view and keeping everything looking crisp and sharp. In terms of speed and responsiveness it’s good, and comes in at 240Hz wit a low 0.03ms response time, which should ensure you can game at higher frame rates and not get much in the wy of ghosting or after images. It also features a immersive, but subtle 1800R curve, which allows it to be more versatile for other uses, such as creative work and productivity. On top of that it packs a good array of ports and connectivity, including USB-C with 90W power delivery. This means you can easily connect devices to this monitor for both data transfer and charging, which helps to reduce cable clutter.
Things to consider
This is a very good gaming monitor, especially at this reduced Prime Exclusive price, but as always, there are some areas you’ll want to consider before making your final decision. According to the Amazon listing, this monitor has 99% sRGB color, however according to the official listing on Innocn it has 99% DCI-P3 color. We’re not sure why this is different, however, it’s more likely to have 99% DCI-P3 color, which would make it good for creative professionals. We’d advise triple checking this before making your decision, especially if you plan on doubling this monitor up for a video editing, graphic design, or other tasks. Something else to factor in is the tier of adapative sync this has, which appears to be more on the entry-level. For HDR gaming, we’d advise something with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, but this monitor should still be adept at reducing screen tearing and stutter without.
Who’s this monitor for and what are your alternatives?
This monitor is both a producvity powerhouse and an immersive gaming station in one, and if you’ve got the bugdet, it’s a bit of a showstopper. Compared to some of the dual-UHD options, it’s much more affordable for obvious reasons, and it doesn’t require the absolute best graphics card to make the most out of it either. We’d pair this with a good mid-range PC build, such as something like an RTX 5070 Ti rig, or similiar. When it comes to alternatives, if you were looking for something potentially brighter, mini-LED monitors would be a good way to go. These could be better suited to more well-lit environments, or daytime usage.
