Among the games now compatible with shadPS4 are the titles Bloodborne, Persona 4, and Red Dead Redemption. While some may require additional workarounds or configurations, these games are “now bootable and even playable to some degree” – referencing the announcement in Discord. For the uninformed, Bloodborne and RDR1 never got a PC launch, though the latter was rumored not too long ago.

The ability to play PlayStation 4 games on PC offers a number of advantages. It allows users to enjoy these games on more powerful hardware, potentially improving performance and graphics. One downside is that keyboard and mouse support is not yet supported. Perhaps most importantly, shadPS4 finally brings games like Bloodborne to PC nearly a decade after it launched, with expectations for an official port at this point fairly low.
