Current speculation places the RTX 5060 & RTX 5060 Ti release date in early April and further details about the next two GPUs in Nvidia’s RTX 50 series are starting to surface online. There was even news that Nvidia could unveil the new cards as soon as today (March 13th), though any official details have yet to be released at the time of writing.
So, that means leaks and rumors to rely on for the time being – so be sure to take the following information with a grain of salt. With that disclaimer out of the way, RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti pricing could be settled thanks to early Chinese retailer listings sent to VideoCardz by an anonymous tip. On top of that, the 5060 with 12GB of VRAM has raised eyebrows.

- VRAM: 12GB GDDR6
- Memory bus width: 192-bit

RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti appear early on Chinese retailer
Just yesterday, leaks reiterated the expected 8GB of VRAM on the RTX 5060, but now with the suggestion of 12GB – bringing it level with budget cards such as the Intel Arc B580. For reference, the RTX 3060 featured a 12GB design, but this was dropped down to 8GB for the 40-series successor, and people want Nvidia to raise the bar again. Games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle performing better on the 3060 as a result of limited VRAM were a hot topic around the time the game launched.
Back on the topic of the B580, we pitted it against the existing RTX 4060 in our Intel Arc B580 review, and the Team Blue card held its own across many titles, even outperforming the 4060 in Cyberpunk 2077. Looking at generational uplifts across the RTX 50 series so far, we’re not confident the 5060 will be miles better than its predecessor, but the possibility of a 12GB model is an interesting twist. Considering the B580 retails from $250 (MSRP), we hope to see the 5060’s value for money come close.

As for pricing, we can see that the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti are set to cost 3799 RMB and 4299 RMB respectively. It is likely these prices are for board partner cards, in other words, not reflective of Nvidia’s MSRP.

This anonymous leak is the first time we’ve seen 12GB on the RTX 5060 suggested, so we’re not fully convinced it will be the case. It is possible that Nvidia will use 4x 3GB GDDR7 modules on this particular SKU, but this is speculative. We’ll only know the truth once Nvidia unveils the 5060 family, which should be incredibly soon.
