As we welcome the arrival of 2026, the outlook for PC hardware prices isn’t great – RAM prices are unlikely to improve anytime soon – but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any deals to be had. We’ve spotted the popular RTX 5070 graphics card dropping below $500, safely under the $549 MSRP that Nvidia set when the GPU launched last year.

The latest deal is on a Zotac model, now available from Micro Center, though it comes with a catch. This GPU is only available for in-store pickup, so you’ll have to find your way to the nearest outlet. A list of Micro Center locations can be found here; there are 29 stores in the U.S. The sub-$500 price point is a contrast to most online offers right now.

Grab the RTX 5070 for safely below MSRP

This is a great deal on the RTX 5070, and while we haven’t reviewed this exact Zotac card, we do have hands-on experience with a couple of 5070s, namely the ASUS TUF and MSI Gaming Trio models. We put both cards through gaming benchmarks in our testing lab.

In contrast, there have been reports of the RTX 5090 price climbing towards $4,000, a far cry from the original $1,999 MSRP. For reference, just two cards are listed at Nvidia’s recommended price at Micro Center; however, both are currently out of stock. If you want to pick up a flagship 5090 card, you’ll have to spend hundreds to thousands more.

Deals season is here folks, and with it comes a plethora of eye-catching price cuts on some of the industry's most popular tech. Below are some of the best deals you can find right now.

We noticed GPU prices beginning to rise towards the end of 2025, likely spurred on by the memory (RAM) shortages, so it only makes sense that high-end cards with plenty of VRAM are being affected. As for the 12GB RTX 5070, now might be the best time to grab one while it’s cheaper than $500 – rival AMD cards like the RX 9070 series are also rumored to rise.
