Black Friday deals are rolling in, and we’re seeing a load of price drops on graphics cards. Right now, there’s an Amazon Prime member exclusive deal on this Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT graphics card, which has knocked off 11%, reducing it from $729.99 to $649.99, to its lowest price ever, beating its previous record earlier this month. This card is an excellent option for those looking for something with exceptional 1440p and 4K performance, but without the price tag of your typical RTX 5070 Ti. It boasts 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM, making it a good option for more heavy-duty creative workloads, and you get to take advantage of its newer RDNA 4 architecture, improved ray tracing, and AI capabilities, too.

Sapphire 11348-03-20G Pulse AMD Radeonâ„¢ RX 9070 XT

Gaming Graphics Card with 16GB GDDR6, AMD RDNA 4

Key features of this Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT graphics card

RDNA 4 architecture

Built on RDNA 4 architecture, this card boasts significant improvements in ray tracing performance compared to older-gen AMD alternatives. Other advantages of this type of architecture also include improved AI acceleration, FSR 4 to optimize gaming performance, and advanced display support.

16GB of VRAM

This card features 16GB of older-gen GDDR6 memory, which allows it to handle higher resolution gaming, ray tracing, and more intensive creative workflows, such as 3D rendering.

Cooling

You’ve got Sapphire’s Dual-X cooling system here, which features three Aerocurve fans designed to reduce air friction, improve air flow, and optimize static pressure, all while maintaining low noise levels. On top of this, it also features a PTM 7950 thermal interface material, which provides superior thermal conductivity, and a composite heatpipe to keep everything running as cool as possible, even under heavy or sustained loads.

Performance

When we reviewed a similar RX 9070 XT, we were very impressed with its 1440p and 4K performance, even with ray tracing enabled. To give you an idea of what to expect, our benchmarks showed the RX 9070 XT getting 129fps/ 1440p, 51fps/ 1440p with ray tracing, and 61fps/4K, 25fps/ 4K wth ray tracing in Cyberpunk 2077 at ultra settings. With less demanding titles, like Doom Eternal, we saw it smash 249fps at 1440p with ray tracing and an impressive 154fps at 4K with ray tracing.

Who’s this deal for?

While this graphics card is higher than the RX 9070 XT’s MSRP of $599 USD, it’s still a good deal in our eyes, especially if you’re looking for something great for 1440p and 4K gaming that comes in cheaper than your typical RTX 5070 Ti 16GB alternative. In terms of price-to-performance, the RX 9070 XT has always been a winner. We’d say if you’re going for this card, it’s worth pairing it with the best CPU possible to make the most out of it. If you want to keep costs down and are going for an all-out gaming build, we’d say the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is your best bet right now. For a more versatile, mid-range PC build, we’d say one of the 14th Gen Intel CPUs, like the i7-14700F, could be a good option, as it boasts a much higher core and thread count than the 7 7800X3D, making it better for multitasking.
