We’re always in the mood for finding new fan-made creations. The world of cosplay is a great place to find this kind of thing, even more so now that people have really unlocked the potential of 3D printing. We’ve come across a 3D-printed Fallout Gatling Laser replica that any fan of the franchise will be impressed by. This iconic weapon features in every mainline game in the series, so there’s a pretty good chance you’re familiar with it.

Perhaps not quite as iconic as the Pip-Boy (we’ve seen recreations of this a few times), but the rotating gatling gun is recognizable right away, especially with matching armor to complete the look. StalkerOvitz on Reddit put together this impressive piece of kit, and it’s not the first time they’ve recreated some tech from the Fallout universe.

StalkerOvitz says that their take on the Gatling Laser is “fully 3D printed and electrically powered,” referring to the rotating barrel. There are a few different iterations of the Gatling Laser throughout the various games in the franchise, and the look has changed a few times, but we think they’ve done a very good job. It closely resembles the model found in Fallout 4 or Fallout 76. If you’re curious about the image up above with the classic-style laser, it’s from this Fallout New Vegas mod.

As you can see in the video above, the look is completed by a rotating barrel. StalkerOvitz says that it “could easily handle light-up mods or even sound,” but they wanted to keep it “somewhat grounded” and not go too over the top. Regardless, this fun fan-made creation demonstrates the power of 3D printing for recreating iconic video game designs. It is designed to be a 1:1 recreation of the model, and it looks pretty spot-on to us.
