Table of Contents
If you’ve been trying to score an RTX 5080, you’ve most likely been hit with some serious frustration due to various stock issues. As expected, it’s far more likely that you’ll be able to get your hands on an RTX 5080 prebuilt gaming PC instead, but even they are pretty hard to come by right now.
Good news though, as I’ve just managed to find an in-stock RTX 5080 gaming PC that comes in at $2,999.99 on Amazon. Take a look below, and keep reading for my own take on this PC and whether it’s good value for money.
- GPU: Nvidia RTX 5080 16GB
- CPU: Ryzen 9 9900X
- Memory: 32 GB DDR5 RAM
- Storage: 2TB
- OS : Windows 11 Home
My take
In short, this gaming PC is towards the upper range of what I’ve seen on the market so far. From what I’ve seen, most RTX 5080 gaming PCs are between $2300 – $3000, so what’s bringing this PC to the higher range?

The main thing driving this cost is the choice of processor, which is the Ryzen 9 9900X. We’ve reviewed this CPU and we’d say it’s probably one of the best processors for the 5080 out there, even though we’d say the 9950X or even 7 7800X3D would be great choices too. It’s not uncommon to find prebuilts with Intel Core Ultra 7 265K CPUs, which are okay, but had a fairly lacklustre reception on launch. Most people tend to lean towards AMD processors at the moment, so the premium price-point makes sense here.
In terms of RAM, 32GB is more than enough for most people, and ensures you can meet some of the fairly beefy AAA game system requirements. Again, from what I’ve seen, 64GB options are rarer with 5080 prebuilt than with 5090 options, for good reason. A 2TB SSD is standard for 5080 gaming PCs too – I haven’t yet come across anything with less, but there are some that have 4TB.
I’m actually a big fan of the design here, but it’ll divide tastes for sure. There’s great lighting and visibility of all the components in the build, plus plenty of room for airflow so the AIO cooling can do its thing.
Overall, this a good RTX 5080 gaming PC, and well worth considering or even jumping on while it’s in stock.
