Key features of this GIGABYTE Eagle GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB graphics card
Nvidia Blackwell Architecture and 16GB of VRAM
The RTX 5070 Ti is one of the best graphics cards you can get for 1440p and 4K gaming, without paying upwards of $1,000 for an RTX 5080. That’s largely down to its decent amount of VRAM, larger 256-bit bus, and pretty high CUDA core count, but it also benefits hugely from Nvidia’s new Blackwell Architecture, too. You’ve got 4th-gen ray tracing cores, which are improved to handle more complex scenarios, offering vastly better performance than the previous-gen. There’s also 5th-gen Tensor cores for enhanced AI capabilities, such as powering Nvidia’s new Multi-frame generation upscaling technology, which can insert up to 3 frames between 2, for much higher perceived framerates.
Overclocked performance
This OC edition card is factor overclocked to 2542 MHz, which is a fair bit more than your standard 2452 MHz boost clock speed. That gets you a bit more performance right out of the box, without any need for manual tuning. If you do want to push this further, you can via your preferred overclocking software, and as you’ll read, its cooling system is certainly up to the task.
Advanced cooling system
This card features Gigabyte’s Windforce cooling system, which is a more premium offering than your standard RTX 5070 Ti graphics cards. Instead of your bog-standard fans, you’ve got Hawk Fans, which are designed to reduce air resistance, increase air pressure, and reduce noise levels all at the same time. They spin in alternate directions, too, which reduces air turbulence further, and can also switch off entirely, should the GPU be under lighter loads, resulting in silent operation. Away from the fans, you have server-grade thermal conductive gel, which allows for heat to be whisked away rapidly from critical components. There’s also a larger copper plate and composite copper heat pipe to grab as much heat as possible and send it on its merry way to the heatsink, which is extended to allow for greater heat dissipation.
Deisgn
One of the big things here is the design itself, which is slightly similar to the AERO lineup with its silver metallic finish, but has its own uniquely futuristic and sci-fi-like aesthetic. There’s some subtle RGB on this card, too, on the side panel, which can be fully customized via the Gigabyte control center, synced, and set to showcase a wide range of different lighting effects.

Things to consider
This card ticks all the boxes, in all honesty, and with the deal, it’s actually very well priced. But, as always, you should consider the RX 9070 XT 16GB if you’re still shortlisting and want something with similar performance, but more affordable on the whole. We’d say it’s also worth, from a purely design perspective, checking out the AERO lineup from Gigabyte. These cards are super sleek, less sci-fi inspired, and are great for more minimal builds. There may be something that suits your build a little better, so they’re worth taking a look at before jumping on the Eagle lineup.
